We are very happy to announce that we are ready for the 2025 annual Aussie Mirage Mob reunion.

Please note that this year there is a change of venue to Stockton BOWLING Club – 122 Mitchell St, Stockton NSW 2295

For those of you who have attended previous events, this is a day you don’t want to miss.

Below are the answers to the standard questions;

Pricing: $55.00 per ticket including meal

Guests: As usual, tickets and attendance are strictly limited to actual Mirage Mob Members and, where necessary, an accompanying carer for a member wishing to attend. We realise that this does not sit well with all members, but the reality is we fill the room as it is, so we cannot accommodate spouses, friends, etc. For spouses or guests wanting to catch up with others on the day, remember that it’s a public club, and it’s only the function room we are managing.

Meal: The meal is included in your ticket price. Because it’s a different venue, the catering will be different, and will be a BBQ style lunch with choices of Steak, Chicken, and Salads

Checking in on the day: The following process will apply to get everyone in and mingling as quickly as we possibly can;

  • There will be no “Check-in” as such.
  • If you (or a friend) bought a ticket, you will have a name tag waiting for you. Collect and install your tag and wristband IAW standing orders.
  • If you do not have a name tag, make your way to the service desk, and we will sort you out.
  • Payments (if required, and I hope they’re not) on the day will be by Credit/Debit card only. We can’t handle cash on the day.

Courtesy Bus: Unfortunately the Bowling Club does not offer a courtesy bus service. However public transport services do run between the main centres and Stockton

Subsidised Beer: We are still working with the venue of the logistics for this, but we expect that we will be able to offer discounted beer at ONE of the bars.

Fund Raising and Formalities: Like last year, we’re keeping formalities to a bare minimum on the day. However, once again Ted Krol has generously offered tow of his hand made Mirage Models as prizes. Because Ted customises these models to the winners design choices (Squadron, Pilot and Tail No), we will need to draw the winners in advance, so that Ted can complete the models and deliver them on the day of the reunion. That means winners will need to collect (or have someone collect for them) their model on the day.

We will be allowing on-line donations prior to the event, and every donation you make increases your entries—$5 gets you one additional entry, $10 for three additional entries, and a $20 donation secures you ten additional entries. It’s a simple way to support a great cause and potentially win a great memento!

This winners will be drawn 30th May to allow Ted time to customise as requested – so time is of the essence – make your donation ASAP.

Shirts: We have arranged Mob Shirts again – details to follow

Club Registration for Guests: Just like last year, we will collect any relevant details from you during the ticket purchase that allows us to “Pre-Register” all guests. This saves both you and the club a lot of effort and angst on the day.
